Dominion® powered subwoofers benefit from JL Audio’s expertise in driver and amplifier design to arrive at a unique solution for applications requiring a compact, more affordable subwoofer. Unlike any other product in its price class, Dominion® powered subwoofers combine a purpose engineered, DMA optimized, long excursion driver with an advanced Class D amplifier equipped with a tightly regulated switching power supply. Dominion® powered subwoofers can be used in a variety of compact applications, including full home theater systems, media room systems, dedicated two-channel music systems, desktop audio workstations and small recording studios.

Built like no other
Our Miramar factory builds all of our home subwoofers, including our affordable Dominion® models. Their unique drivers are built using the same advanced equipment and processes reserved for our top models and they share a production line with the E-Sub™ lineup.
Technology
JL Audio’s engineering department is at the forefront of research into fundamental loudspeaker behavior. We have developed proprietary electromagnetic and suspension analysis systems and invested heavily in state-of-the-art manufacturing and testing. This has borne subwoofer drivers widely considered as reference standards for linear displacement and dynamic stability. It has also resulted in numerous U.S. and International Patents issued for technologies that refine and extend the performance envelope of the dynamic driver.
